1. Introduction EMISA Games Studio (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Allergy Lens mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “App”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App, as well as the choices and rights you have associated with that data.
2. Information Collection and Use To provide and improve our Service, Allergy Lens collects the following types of information:
- Camera and Gallery Permissions: The App requires access to your device’s camera and photo library to scan food labels and restaurant menus. Captured images are securely transmitted to our Artificial Intelligence providers (e.g., OpenAI) solely for real-time analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers, nor do we use them to train AI models.
- Account and Profile Data: If you choose to create an account, we will store your email address and your configured dietary preferences (allergen profiles) to provide a personalized, multi-user experience.
- Payment Data: Subscriptions and in-app purchases are securely processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe, Google Play Billing, or Apple iOS In-App Purchases). EMISA Games Studio does not collect or store your direct credit card information.
3. Third-Party Service Providers We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our App, provide the Service on our behalf, or assist us in analyzing how our App is used. Our primary providers include:
- Supabase: For secure user authentication and database management.
- OpenAI (API): For the visual recognition engine (OpenAI’s enterprise API retains images for a maximum of 30 days for trust and safety purposes only, and explicitly does not use user-submitted API data to train their models).
- Stripe: For secure micro-payment processing.
4. Data Retention and Deletion (Right to be Forgotten) You have full control over your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your account, your email, and all associated allergen profiles, you can do so in two ways:
- In-App (Automatic): Navigate to the “Settings” or “Profile” menu within Allergy Lens and tap the “Delete my account and data” button. The deletion will be executed immediately across our databases.
- Via Email (Manual): Send an email to emisagamesstudio@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request,” specifying the email address you used to register in the App. We will process the complete deletion of your data within 7 business days.
Please note that once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
5. Data Security The security of your data is important to us. We utilize cloud-based databases with end-to-end encryption (HTTPS/SSL). However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Medical Disclaimer Allergy Lens is an AI-powered informational tool and is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In cases of severe or life-threatening allergies (e.g., risk of anaphylaxis), always manually verify manufacturer ingredient lists or consult directly with restaurant staff. EMISA Games Studio is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues arising from the use of this application.
